1. Differences in Perspective

In Tokyo and eastern Japan: Stand on the left, leave the right side open for people in a hurry.

- Recently, many stations and facilities encourage people to stand still on the escalator to prevent accidents, instead of walking.
3. Do not use strollers or large luggage.
- Strollers, large suitcases, and carts should not be used on escalators. Please use elevators instead.
